The 糖心探花's Director of Political Affairs, Amitav Banerji, called on the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Jos茅 Miguel Insulza, at his office in Washington DC on 29 May.
They discussed ways in which the two organisations could strengthen partnership and collaboration.
The has 35 member states and promotes social and economic development in the Western hemisphere through co-operation.
Thirteen states are members of both the Commonwealth and OAS: Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago.
